halo reach, focus rifle

So in this guide I am going to be talking about the focus rifle. I am going to be talking about how it works and how to shoot it right. Like always since I like to make these guide as noob friendly as possible I am going to provide a picture of the focus rifle right below 

so let me go over what its for. This is a long range weapon, and it deals a fair amount of damage. This should not ever be used for close quarter combat, its best used at a long distance. When you shoot it don't hold down the right trigger, you should let out bursts of it little by little rather then letting it all out (thats what she said). On top of having a really good range it also has a really good zoom. When using the zoom to the right of the cross hair is the heat level of it, the longer you shoot it the higher it goes up, so be care full not to let it over heat. Like the assault rifle in halo reach the amount of ammunition left is displayed on the gun, and when you are zoomed in the amount of ammunition left is displayed on the left side of the cross hair. Another thing that most of you might not know about is if someone shoots you with the rocket launcher and you are a beast you can shoot the rocket right out of the air. This is considered a covenet snipper rifle, but it is no were even close to as good as the human sniper rifle. This really isn't the best gun in the game, you should only use this weapon if you don't have a good secondary weapon. Don't trade the D.M.R for this weapon, but it would be a good trade for something like the plasma pistol or the pistol

the title of this post says ghost guide. I am not talking about some weird secret glitch there is in halo reach. I mean the ghost vehicle, this one

 so let me give you some tips to rip up the battle field with this beast. So this vehicle has to plasma rifle guns on the front and boosters to make it a fairly fast moving vehicle. This has a big advantage over some of the other vehicles in halo reach, such as it is small and nimble quick allowing you to get out of there before you take a fatal hit. It dose have its weaknesses, such as the guns are not as power full as most of the other guns on halo reach vehicles.
Let me give you some tips for using this vehicle. Since this doesn't have super power full guns on it the boosters are going to be your best bet for getting kills, just don't be stupid with it. If you are about to kill someone with the boosters and you see his hands glowing green thats a plasma pistol. Yes I know big surprise    thats when those handy little guns come in handy. In some cases there are people that are really good at jumping over you right when you are about to run him down, so what you do is come at him and stop right before you hit him, he should jump, the second he lands hit the boosters and get that very satisfying splatter kill . now just because this is a good  vehicles it doesn't mean its the best. If you are see a warthog with a gunner in it then stay away unless you see the warthog flip over, the warthog will win almost every time and is not worth the risk if you are going for a good K.D.R. But by all means if you see a warthog without a gunner than do your best to kill the driver without destroying the warthog, then let your team mates know that there is an empty warthog

halo reach, invasion guide

Here is my guide and my tips for you on invasion. So I am going to start this amusing that you don't know what invasion is, so let me take this time to explain what invasion is (if you know what invasion is and just want to get to all the juicy tips/ guide then skip down past the break in the page)
OK so invasion is a mix of capture the flag and  territories, there are to different sides you can be on, one is offence and one is defense, and you trade off from defense and offence (like in one flag Capture the flag) the offending team is the Elites. The defending  team is the Spartans

there is 3 stages to invasion the 1st one is were the elites try to capture one of two territories, If they fail to capture even one territory before the time runs out then the game is over right then and there. If they succeed in capturing one of the two territories before the time runs out then they move on to stage two. Stage two often has power weapons and vehicles, which you want to control like crazy. Like the first stage there are two territories to capture (usually) and like the first stage if they fail in capturing the one of the two capture points then the game is over right then and there, but if the succeed in capturing one of the two capture points within the time limit then you move into the 3rd and finial stage. In the last stage it is more like capture the flag, there is one flag (called a core in invasion) that you have to grab and take to the extraction point on the map, which is marked like a hill. If the elites fail to bring the core to the extraction point with in the time limit then the Spartans win, If the elites bring the core to the extraction point then elites win.
Sorry about that but I did want that to be as noob friendly as possible. OK no on to some tips on how to play well  8)

This post is for giving you all the info you need on the needle rifle in halo reach. First off let me say the needle rifle is very similar to the D.M.R, if you are not familiar with the D.M.R then check out this post I did on the D.M.R: http://haloreachskillz.blogspot.com/2010/11/halo-reach-dmr-tips.html
So the needle rifle has two firing modes, semi automatic  and fully automatic.

The needle rifle is a medium to long range weapon , very versatile weapon, and like the D.M.R its cross hair blooms as you shoot it, so the faster you shoot it the less accurate it gets, so you have to find the balance  between not to fast, and not to slow, once you get that figured out you should be good for most case’s, but lets so you are in a close combat, you want to spam that trigger like nobody’s business.
For general use you want to aim for the chest shoot fairly quickly and once his shields go down  let your cross hair settle and then pop him in the head….. Like this: BLAM!

how to use a halo reach pistol

Every halo game out there has had a pistol, some of those pistols were good, some of them were not.Below in these pictures are the pistols that were used in the games halo ce (halo combat evolved) halo 2 halo 3 and halo reach

  every pistol in the halo franchise has been different, the halo ce pistol is fully automatic and had a 2x zoom, the halo 2  pistol is semi automatic and could be duel wielded, the halo 3 pistol was semi automatic but had a fixed rate of fire and you could also duel wield,the halo reach pistol has a 2x zoom and is semi automatic.

here is some tips to shooting the halo reach pistol: at long distance's use the 2x zoom and shoot slow and steady, for medium and close range shoot at the body and as fast as you can  If you don't miss you can take down an opponent  with full shields. Use the pistol  as a secondary weapon for if you run out of rounds in your clip in the middle of a gun fight, or if  you are fighting someone close range when a sniper rifle is your primary weapon . Remember the pistol is one of the most versatile  weapons in halo reach                                                                                             

halo reach invasion slayer

invasion slayer is like a regular round of slayer but with a bit of a twist. Here is the twist: Rather than just slaying everybody in sight there are objective markers with capture points around the map, capture one and you get a supply drop. the spawn system is different, you can choose were you spawn (But the selection is limited) and one more twist to invasion slayer is, it is Spartans vs elites
So this is how a game of invasion slayer will play out: first off you spawn as a team, you go get the power weapons, you capture the objective points on the map, (at the beginning supply drop will be stuff like sniper rifles and rocket launchers, if you are playing as an elite it will be stuff like focus rifle and plasma launcher) so near the end of the game the Spartans supply drop will be stuff like warthogs and Scorpion tanks, the Elites will ghosts banshees and wraith's.
STRATEGY, HINTS, TIPS. MY strategy to you is control the objective's on the map and wait at the enemies spawns with power weapons. My hints to you is save your ammo with the rocket launcher remember there is a whole team plus vehicles coming after you so watch it. Tips stay to the edges of the map and stay alert

halo reach stockpile, hints, how to

One of the many objective game types there is in halo reach is: Stockpile. Stockpile is a game type a lot like multi capture the flag, If you are not familiar with capture the flag check this out before reading on: http://haloreachskillz.blogspot.com/2010/11/halo-reach-capture-flag-strategy-guide.html   but instead of two flags there are flags all over the map that you can grab and bring back to you base that you started at, the base you started at (the same place you bring the flags to) has a timer that timer is one minute long, after that one minute timer is up any flags at your base are collected and put in to the over all score
STRATEGY, HINTS, AND TIPS: Make sure that your team is picking up the easy flags, like the ones right across from were the drop off point is. Also make it as hard as possible for the opposing team to keep flags at there base, send someone from your team to interfere with them getting any flags. Make sure your team is controlling all the power weapons, if you do mange to control all the power weapons do your best to keep the other team from getting to far away from were they spawn

Another one of the many game types in halo reach is: juggernaut. Basically at the beginning one person starts off as the juggernaut (juggernaut traits: 2x over shields primary weapon is gravity hammer faster, is black, on fire)the juggernaut is against all of the 7 other players in the map once someone takes the juggernaut down that person becomes the juggernaut
HINTS, TIPS, STRATEGY. My best advice for when you are trying to kill the juggernaut is to stay far away him, have other people weaken him (he turns white when he is weak) when you think he is weak enough go for the kill before someone else does. How ever when you are the juggernaut here is what you want to do: Stay away from any body that has a plasma pistol or sniper rifle or even a shot gun. Bring the crowd of people into a tight and confined place were they will get in each others way, and are easy to kill. Don't be afraid to go hide and let your shields recharge that is very important because once your over shields are gone they are gone

halo reach rockets how to: Control use and counter

Guess how I am: I am your best Friend, I am your worst enemy, I will punish you with the slightest mistake but reward you with every good shot you make I come back from the dead every 3 minutes. Who am I? I am halo reach rockets,
So here is a guide to halo reach rockets first thing you should know about the rockets is were they spawn, another thing that should be noted is that they spawn every 3 minutes. When you get a hold of these rockets "whether its from a dead opponent, a dead team mate, or you just sat at the spawn and waited for them (I do not recommend doing so) once you get them you are going to want to go after groups of enemies and when you shoot you want to aim at a wall or floor close to the enemies you are aiming for.
If you are unfortunate enough to let your foe get a hold of rockets you are to switch to armor lock or active camouflage Until the rockets are ether in your hands or empty
