Today we will be talking about the all mighty needler. This weapon has been in every halo reach ever made and has changed a lot from the first game, halo combat evolved. So first off, let me show you what the needler looks like
as you can see this weapon has some small similarities to the plasma pistol,(plasma pistol guide) because its a covenant weapon, but unlike most covenant weapons, it can run out of bullets to shoot. Most covenant weapons just run out of juice. If you know what I mean. This gun is more of a medium range weapon. Its not good close up, and its not good at a distance. This shoots in a far spread, and you are spraying needles every were! You can see if your needles are hitting your target, and if there not hitting there target then either you have a really bad aim, or you are to far away. This weapon is best used as a quick way to get a kill on a unsuspecting enemy. I say unsuspecting because its way to easy to evade the needles if you see them coming. So best way to use the needler is as a surprise weapon that doesn't make a whole lot of sound. If you find someone shooting at you with the needler then your best bet is to walk to one side shooting, without stopping, or use your evade armor ability to get away. (armor ability's guide) When you are getting shot with the needler, never stay in one place or, only go forward or only go backwards. You can kill about two people in one reload with this weapon as long as you are dead on with all your needles
